One of the challenging projects from IHC Fabrication is the construction of the suction pipe for the largest dredge vessel ever built in the Netherlands: the Vox Máxima.
IHC Fabrication took over both the technical realization and the management of the project.
The necessary materials and parts had to be procured from various suppliers located all over the world. This required good time management as the lead times constituted up to nine months. But also when construction was in full swing absolutely no slack could be allowed due to the tight planning.
Large ships like this require special handling and IHC keeps to high quality demands.
To fulfill all these challenges at its best, IHC Fabrication has worked in close co-operation with other IHC business units.
